As the title suggests. Would be VERY handy to know what percentage of battery is left available to get me home at night.

As suggested, the battery percentage would be great.

Also, what about something that communicates the status of the device like the LED flash indicators.  It's great that the LED indicates what's going on, but I can't remember what they all mean.  I think the battery was getting low the other night and saw red and green flashes, but I don't know what they mean without the manual.
