If it is used, the shirt printing company should use a process called 'vinyl heat seal printing' to transfer it to the polymer that most cycling jerseys are made of. In that way the contrast is very sharp.  The printing shop should be asked about their techniques to deal with 'dye migration', which is a problem with some fabrics.
