To reduce battery usage, conflicts with other devices, unwanted pairing, possibly camera sensor noise, debug issues with unexplained shutdowns, it should be an option to disable RF connectivity completely.
To allow Phone app connection it should still enable for a period after powerup or perhaps after a button press and then go back to sleep when that times out.
Of course this feature cant be used if wanting to use headset lights control because that needs RF to remain listening at all times.
