I have a fly6 and will buy a fly12

What I would like you guys to develop or source is an Application that can sync the files together to produce a video with picture in picture, so show front on the big screen and the reverse in a small window or vice versa.

I guess it could just take the time stamps of each to do that ?

With the integration of future models involving wifi/Bluetooth connectivity this will be a likely prospect. keep watching this space and and with the dvelopment of the Fly12 mobile app I believe you will be presented with options to do this and overlay other metrics such as those from a garmin device .
