Cygolite has a "steady pulse" flash mode where basically the light stays on and pulses by dimming the light to kind of simulate flashing. Would it kill the battery too quickly with a mode like this? Do a search on YouTube for "cygolite expilion 700 pulse mode" for a better idea of what I'm trying to describe. I use this mode all the time when riding in the dark and prefer it a lot more than the normal flash modes. I hate not being able to see the road in between flashes.
