(We recommend using Chrome or Safari)</li><li>Connect your Fly6 to your computer</li><li>Copy the&#xA0;<strong>FWSHDV01.bin</strong> file from your computer into the Fly6 main folder</li><li>Disconnect your Fly6 and unplug from your computer</li></ol><h2 id="step-2--firmware-update">Step 2 &#x2013; Firmware update</h2><ol><li>Depress the on/off button quickly</li><li>The process will take up to 20 seconds</li><li>When the flashing lights have stopped, the new firmware is installed</li></ol>

<p id="isPasted"><strong>A bench test will allow you to see how your unit performs.</strong></p><p>To do this, please do the following:</p><ul><li>Check your SD card<ul><li>SD card should be a Class 10 microSD card</li><li><a href="https://cycliq.com/sdcards/" style=" text-decoration: none;">Check the list of recommended SD cards</a></li></ul></li><li>Ensure your Fly6 is fully charged</li><li><a href="https://cycliq-3fs2kxgdpwe.gorgias.help/en-US/1079684-38160ec0ffaf4f51a64c822caa239141" style=" text-decoration: none;">Reformat your SD card</a></li><li><a href="https://cycliq-3fs2kxgdpwe.gorgias.help/en-US/1079685-1596e6ad15534e8991c5929c418812ff" style=" text-decoration: none;">Make sure the firmware is up to date</a></li><li>Disable Idle Mode<ol><li>Connect your device to your computer</li><li>Open the Config.txt file</li><li>Change &#x201C;0&#x201D; to &#x201C;5&#x201D; in your Fly6 Config.txt file. (Note: Be sure to put enable this after the test by switching it back to &#x201C;0&#x201D;)</li><li>Save changes and disconnect.</li></ol></li></ul><h2 id="performing-a-bench-test">Performing a bench test</h2><p>When you are ready, place the unit on top of a flat surface and turn it on. Take note what light settings you are using. You may turn the LED lights off if you want to check how long the battery lasts in default mode. Also, please note what time you started the test.</p><p>Leave the unit until it turns off. Once the bench test is done, plug the unit into your computer and open the DCIM and Fly6 folder. Check the time of the last recording and verify.</p><p>If your Fly6 runtime is not performing to expectations, please take a screenshot of the video logs (showing the file sizes, date and time) and submit a ticket with our support team using the button in the top right.</p>
